Musing Mondays - Blogs

This week’s musing asks…

This week’s musing is about reading…blogs!

As a book blogger, does reading others’ blogs spark ideas for what to write on your own?

My answer...

Sure, that happens all the time. There are only so many topics about books out there and sometimes a topic will spark my interest. Even though the topics might not be original, we all have different takes on everything so nobody's posts are really duplicated.

The one thing I get alot of from fellow bloggers is recommendations for books. I have huge lists of book recommendations, even more so than getting topic ideas.

I love visiting blogs...sadly, there never seems to be enough hours in the day to get to everyone and comment like I want to. I need to schedule my time better :)

  1. Oh, yes I forgot about the book recommendations, my wishlist just keeps growing. And I also know the feeling about never having enough time to visit all the other wonderful book blogs. I try to do some of my visiting in the mornings and evenings.

  2. I guess I actually do "borrow' to the extent that I partake in a couple of meme...especially Musing Monday. But then we all take that and make it unique, make it ours...our own unique voice is what I think blogging is all about.

  3. Good answer! I totally agree on the recommendations part of your response! I find that I don't get too many actual ideas though because I do a lot of opinion posts. Feel free to check out my Musing Monday here.

  4. I agree, we all have different takes on the same things, so it's never a bad thing to attempt a post or something you saw in another blog.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
