This week’s musing asks…
Do you like looking at other people’s bookshelves?
My answer...
Yep, I admit it. I'm nosy. I always have to snoop, but is it snooping when the bookshelves are on display? Nah, I'm just curious :)
I do this when I'm on vacation and at the beach, too. I always look to see what people are reading. Sometimes I want to go up to them and ask if they like a book, but I'm not that pushy. I don't do that. I know people like to read without interruptions. At least that's how I am. Of course with my Nook, I'm kind of cheating because now nobody can look and see what I'm reading. LOL

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I'm a little snoop dog too. I like to see what others are reading and add to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteI like to look too! I always see if I can see what others are reading.
ReplyDeleteI love to see what other people are reading... its like it gives me a peek into who they are....
ReplyDeleteAnother problem with the Evil E-Readers. You can't see everyone else is reading! that is not fair!
ReplyDeleteI was just reading an article were a guy wrote how upset that made him poolside at a resort. the e-reader are stealing his fun!
I'm just like you in this respect. I do lament the disappearance of books in favor of ereaders because if a conversation is to start it's more awkward. It's probably more graceful to start by saying, "I notice you're reading (insert book title), how is it?" as opposed to, "What are you reading?" The latter sounds more intrusive.

Tossing It Out
Yes, I look at people's books shelves. I like to see what people are reading or have read, or in some cases like pretending they've read.
