This week’s musing asks…
Do you have a favorite series? Do you have a favorite book out of that series?
My answer...
Yes! I love series books, I always have. The only problem is, with my reviewing schedule, I haven't actually had time to complete them and I'm behind on all of them. However, here are the ones that I love the most...
Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber
Women's Murder Club by James Patterson
Scumble River Mysteries by Denise Swanson
The Chocoholic Mysteries by Joanna Carl
Joe Grey Mysteries by Shirley Rousseau Murphy
Mrs. Murphy series by Rita Mae Brown
Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich
I don't really have any favorite book from each series, but with the Patterson and Evanovich books, I did prefer the earlier ones in the series to the more recent ones.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I like books that have the same characters but aren't really series. The character can be a major one in one book, and a minor one in another - like Emily Giffen's books
ReplyDeleteI mentioned Cedar Cover, too; and your answer triggered another favorite for me. I love Patterson's Women's Murder Club.
ReplyDeleteI think I also read one of Rite Mae Brown's Mrs. Murphy books.
Here's MY MUSING MONDAYS POST
a couple there that I have read some in.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a Plum fan, but gave up on it at some point..
My Muse
I have read some of the series you mentioned. But I have given up on some of the series I started, because after a while they just fizzled out on their own, and I moved on to something else. Now days I prefer books with a beginning and ending all in one book.
ReplyDeleteOw James Patterson. I never have enough time to give those books the attention they deserve. You named some good ones there.

I'm definitely a series reader, too. My current favorite is Penny's Inspector Gamache series.
ReplyDeleteSeries can be a lot of fun! Now that I am a book blogger, it has become harder to keep up with books in series.
