Friendly Fill-Ins - June 15th
Labels:
Friendly Fill-Ins
This meme is hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing. Each week they will post four fill-in statements.
Another fun week of fill-ins. Here are my answers to this weeks statements...
1. My favorite Disney character is Mickey Mouse, of course. I know, a boring answer but he's the one who started it all.
2. If I could stay any age for life, I would choose to be age 10. I have no idea why I said 10...I guess because I was too young to have to worry about a job and still the right age to just have fun.
3. Writing is my secret talent. I do enjoy writing, although it has taken a backseat to reading these days. I belonged to several writing groups and even finished a couple of manuscripts. Sadly, I was rejected. Oh well, someday I'll get back to it.
4. Life is like an adventure. You never know what's going to happen next.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. A lot of people chose Mickey :)
ReplyDeleteDon't let rejection turn you away from writing, it is hard to get published traditionally, but you could get your name out their by print on demand on Amazon or self publishing. Never give up! XO
Great answers.
ReplyDeleteA writing talent is a marvelous talent.
All your answers are great.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I bet the stories you've written are fantastic. I am in the process of writing some stories, and I have already decided that I will be going straight for self-publishing. I write for fun and want the whole process to remain as fun and stress-free as possible. Also, I don't think I have the patience to go the traditional publishing route, and I think I'm also a bit too much of a control freak to let someone else have rights to my stories. I probably need to let go of that sort of mindset, but that is why I plan on trying my hand at self-publishing. Don't let any rejections stop you, because your hard work more than deserves to be out there. Best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteYes indeedy, life is an adventure. You never know when a new box will arrive, when the Male Human will open a fresh can of wet food or when the doorbell will ring and we'll all have to run downstairs to safety.
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Jasmine & The Tribe of Five
Good answers. I think Mickey Mouse is the hands down winner for #1.
