Friendly Fill-Ins - June 8th
Labels:
Friendly Fill-Ins
This meme is hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing. Each week they will post four fill-in statements.
I haven't been here for awhile, but I thought I'd come back. We even have a new host joining in (waving!) Here are my answers to this weeks statements...
1. My favorite subject in school was English. If I had to pick a favorite subject, I guess that would be it. Although I hated reading assigned books. I always wanted to read my own choices.
2. An extracurricular activity I participated in was watching TV? Okay, that's probably not a good one. I did belong to a drama club once, but I really wasn't the type to join in extracurricular activities.
3. I want to learn how to knit or crochet. I've never been the crafty type but I'd love to make sweaters and blankets.
4. It takes courage to try something new. I'm always trying to stick with what I know whether it's food or places or whatever, but sometimes going for something new can be intriguing and even fun, but at first a bit scary.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Thank you for participating in the Friendly Fill-Ins! I'm waving back at you! I can relate to every single one of your answers. I loved English courses in school, but I certainly know what you mean about preferring to read your own books. I belonged to very few extracurricular activities, and only did those because we were always told we needed to have such activities on our college applications. My mom and sister can knit and crochet, and I have always admired that skill which I seriously lack. And I am sometimes a stick in the mud, afraid to try new things. I really need to get over that. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Most senior centers have knitting and crochet groups and the ladies will teach you for free ( even non seniors). I love to crochet, I hope to learn to knit sometime. Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky in school. Most of the books we were assigned to read were classics we wanted to read. We were given a list and could pick from the list. I loved drama club but I am weird that way. Have a blessed week.
