Sunday/Monday Posts - June 17th and 18th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

I hope you are all having the beautiful weather we are having here this weekend.  The sun is shining, it's warm and there's no rain in the sky...very nice.

I'm still in the process of downsizing my house and trying to get rid of things.  It's a huge job, but I'm getting there.  I've also managed to do a bit of reading this week and finished three books.  I loved all three.  I'm so happy I finally got around to reading the first book in Wendy Wax's Beach Series.  Ten Beach Road was so good and I'm hoping to continue reading the series throughout the summer.

I haven't really been watching much TV so far this summer.  Nothing has really been interesting to me.  That's probably why I'm reading more, which is definitely not a bad thing.

I'm enjoying my summer and my books.  I hope everyone else is too.  Have a great week!

Yvonne

Wednesday:  Can't Wait Wednesday

I'm just reading one book this week and it's a good one.

I'm finished reading...

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

These books are coming up for reviews/blog tours in the next couple of months:

  1. I’m glad you’re having a good summer and getting lots of reading done. The weather has been nice here, so I’ve been wandering around outside instead of reading.

  3. I have the Rhys Bowen on my review list too. I haven't been reading as much this month. I had a conference the first week and then some projects around the house has taken up a lot of my energy. I'm so tired when I sit down in the evening that I've been mindlessly binge watching shows on Amazon. Happy Sunday!

  4. Your summer so far sounds good. We are looking for a new house and going through things that are in boxes isn't fun at all. Have a great week.

  6. I hope you love each of the Wendy Wax books...and that downsizing is not too tedious. What am I saying? I've done it...and it was horrible. LOL. But afterwards, it was great.

I'll be reading Our House next month...can't wait!

I also want to read Somebody's Daughter, but I don't have the book yet.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  9. Downsizing and clearing out is such a challenge! We're trying to clear out a few closets that are packed with stuff I know we don't need and am always surprised with how much work it takes. Yay for reading the Wendy Wax book. That one has been on my TBR but somehow I just never seem to get to it. Have a great week!

  12. I know I need to do some decluttering around here, but it's so hard to motivate myself!

  13. While I don't need to downsize, I should be spending some time decluttering. However, reading is more interesting to me right now. The only thing I'm watching on TV is baseball games. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  14. I can tell I'm out of the loop because I keep seeing books I didn't realize were out yet or were even coming that I need to check out.

Downsizing and decluttering is a HUGE task, and I personally haven't seen an end to it, so good luck! And happy Reading!
