The Weekend Review - August 28th-30th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

My prayers for those in the path of Hurricane Ida, I hope the forecasters are wrong and it passes you by and heads out to sea.  It will sure be nice when storm season is over.  Take care of yourselves and stay safe.

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day where we remember those furbabies no longer with us.  I didn't want to write an entire blog post about it as it just makes me so sad.  However, I do want to honor those I've lost over the years.  I miss them all so much and I haven't forgotten any of them.

As for this week...I didn't have too many blog posts.  It was a light week and I think next week might be too.  Things should get busier in September.  Can you believe it's almost September?  Everyone is talking about Halloween already.

Nothing else to report this week.  I'm just trying to read and relax.    I hope you all have a great week.  Stay safe.

  1. I can't believe it is almost September. Fall is great, but for us it means winter will be here soon. I am not excited about that.

Looks like you read some good books!

    Have a relaxing week!

  6. I am concerned for those in the path of this big storm Ida. The destruction of hurricanes is terrible. During this time of year, I often wish I lived somewhere else.

I'm glad you are able to spend time remembering your furbabies.

And it might feel like a light week to you, but it still looks plenty busy here to me!
