The Weekend Review - January 22nd-24th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Not too much happening here.  I finished two great books this week.  January has been a good month for me.  So far, I finished 8 books and there's still a week left.

My TV viewing has been a bit down since many shows won't be back until after the Olympics.  So, I'm hoping that means February will be a good reading month too.  I did binge watch the newest episodes of Ozark on Netflix which were great.  There's still another half season that will be out later this year.

I only picked up three Kindle freebies this week.  It was a slow week 😀

Not much else to report.  I hope you all have a great week.  Stay warm and stay safe!

  2. When I see a cover like that on freebie Cornish Cottage, I can't resist.

You have had a great month of reading. Since I've cut down on going out, I am reading more, too.

  3. I’d hoped to have read more by now but having everyone home has really cramped my style lol.
I’d forgotten all about the Olympics

Wishing you a great reading week

  6. Peril at the Party looks good! I don't have a lot of tv shows I watch these days. Mostly a few half hour sitcoms that I don't mind waiting till I have time, and of course I am excited and enjoying the new Amazing Race. Have a great week!

  7. Drat! I forgot about the stupid Olympics. I was wondering why Blacklist is off until 2/25 and Ghosts is running 2 episodes this week before Feb. sweeps month. Glad you got some reading done. XO

  10. So pleased you enjoyed two great books this week! My reading has been pretty low and slow, as I have been so tired from work and celebrating my birthday. Take care and more happy reading. 🙂

  11. Good grief is it Olympics time already??? I haven't seen much promo. Guess they're not on ABC, which is my network of choice. lol

We binged all the current Ozark episodes yesterday. So good!!! Can't wait for the rest and will be sad when it's over.

  15. Great to have a good reading week, its either viewing or reading really isn't. I find they compete for my time, reading usually wins but sometimes a good TV show is my choice!

  16. I think I'm out of it when it comes to TV viewing. I was watching football all day today, and I don't think I recognized any show in the ads besides Young Sheldon! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories

  17. You have some tempting titles, as usual; I am curious about Dial M for Murder. Also, The Lying Club.

Enjoy your week and any shows you can find. Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  18. While January has been a good and productive month, I have hardly gotten any reading done! I love the look of 'The Lying Club', maybe that'll get me back on track! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a lovely week :)

  19. I'm looking forward to the Olympics but know I'll be frustrated trying to see what I want. The time differences will be tricky. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
