My Review

Detective Whiskers and his human, Sheila, are back for another mystery.  This time it involves Sheila redesigning The Parrot Eyes Inn.  She’s under a tight deadline since they are expecting celebrity guests.  Unfortunately, a tragedy puts a stop to their plans as they now have a murder to investigate first.

Detective Whiskers is not only determined to solve this case, but he wants to prove to everyone that he’s the real deal.  An actual detective.  Sadly, it’s hard to be taken seriously when you can’t communicate to the people around you.  Every time he meows, Sheila thinks he either wants a belly rub or treats.  Not that he wouldn’t accept those, but what he really wants is recognition of his hard work.

This is a fun series with an intriguing mystery and a cast of characters that will keep you on your toes.  I devour these books.  They always leave me wanting more, which is a good thing.
