Teaser Tuesdays - May 3rd

If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week I'm reading...

Ellie, thinking a man would rather die than be with her, had developed an abandonment complex which she often enacted on her daughter.

  1. Interesting teaser I have never heard of this book.

  2. Abandonment comples - Wow! Sounds intriguing.

  3. I've not heard of this book either, but you certainly have me intrigued.

  4. This is a new book to me also. What a sad teaser, Abandonment complex would be difficult for anyone. I hope she can overcome it.

  5. An intriguing theme...I love that cover, too. Thanks for sharing.

    Here's MY TT POST

  6. OOOHHHH, she needs to stop the cycle.

  7. Does not sound like she is a happy lady.

  8. Interesting teaser! This book is new to me. I hope you are enjoying it. My teasers are from The Magnolia League by Katie Crouch and Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston. Happy reading!

  9. Good teaser. I already feel bad for the daughter.

  10. This book is new to me. I hope you enjoy it!

  11. Yep, children live out negative and positive patterns. Good, good Teaser.

  12. Great cover! This is new to me too. Hope you enjoy! :)
