Teaser Tuesdays - July 26th

If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week one of the books I'm reading...

From page 1, it grabbed me right from the start...

Trust me when I say that I usually lead a pretty ordinary life. It's not every day that I stumble across a body while I'm working at Donut Hearts, my handmade donut and premium-blend coffee shop perched on the edge of the downtown district of April Springs, North Carolina, population 5,001.

  1. That cover is so cute, and it does sound like a fun cozy mystery. Cute opening teaser.

  2. I love the subtitle: "A Donut Shop Mystery". lol. Instantly intrigued. If you get a chance, my teaser is here.

  3. I don't remember where, but I've seen this book a while ago, and it's been on my wishlist ever since. Good to hear it's living up to expectations :)

  4. Yup, that would pull me in too.

  5. That certainly is an attention grabber.

  6. Donuts and murder! Can't get any better. LOL.
    MyTeaser Tuesday!

  7. OMG! I now need a glazed donut. I love those things.

  8. Fun teaser! Really like the name of the book!

  9. What a great teaser! Another book to add?

Sorry for not being around....But better late than never!!!

Here is my Teaser Tuesday: Borderlands by Brian McGilloway post!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
