Theme Thursday - Body Parts

Theme Thursdays

This is a new meme hosted by kavyen at Reading between Pages.. “Theme Thursdays” will be open from one thursday to the next and anyone can post it. The rules are simple:

* A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
* Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
* Post it and don’t forget to mention the author and the title of the book
* Since we may take a few days to finish a book, this event is open for one whole week

This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.

This week’s theme is – Body Parts

This week one of the books I'm reading...

"Gentlemen, I'm tired. I have a headache. And - " I motioned with my arm toward the wall of glass. "-out there is a hotel and casino full of problems, all of which I have to address before I call it a night."

  1. Not good to have to face a host of problems with a headache...can't make it easy!

    Here's my Theme post:

  2. No wonder he has a headache. Gollee..

  3. Headaches are always miserable, esp. when there are problems to deal with.

  4. I hate headaches! I can't seem to get anything done when I have one!
I like this meme too :)

  5. Very vivid description! This one sounds like a good book.

  6. Hi!
Sounds like he's got a busy night, a headache will make it harder. Have a great day!

    Just Books

  7. Great snippet, I know how that feels being a migraine sufferer.

  8. Wonder if the headache's related to the casino or something else. Nice bit.

  9. I hate headaches! Poor guy!

  10. Sounds like he'll be glad when the day has ended!

    Happy reading!

  11. Oh, I hate having to work with a headache...

  12. Headaches... they always come when we have 100's of things to do. Irony of life!
