Booking Through Thursday - Anticipation

This week's question...

What’s the last book you were really EXCITED to read?

And, were you excited about it in advance? Or did the excitement bloom while you were reading it?

Are there any books you’re excited about right NOW?

My answer...

I'm kind of boring, I guess. I used to get excited about new releases, but I don't anymore. I think it's because I have so many books to read that I don't get excited about much anymore. I just read the books when they are available. I have plenty to keep me busy until then.

Before the online world added books to my TBR, I always anxiously awaited the newest book in some of my favorite series like Joe Grey books by Shirley Rousseau Murphy, Cedar Cove by Debbie Macomber, Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich and Women's Murder Club by James Patterson. Now, I'm years behind on those. LOL

How about you? What are you anxiously awaiting?

  2. Before blogging I couldn't wait for Mary Higgins Clark's newest to be released now there are so many on the TBR but I definitely still get excited, I try not to so I am not disappointed though.

  3. Before starting out I'm mostly curious and the excitement will come if the book is good enough. Still, the odd books comes along and pushes everything else out of it's way.
