It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! D This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Last week I finished...

I'm still reading....

The only reason I stopped reading these books is because I needed to do some review books. Both books are really good.

I'm still listening to...

It's a very hard book to listen to on audio. I may stop and eventually read it.

I just started...

I started this one for a book club read.

Just a side note - I never have so many different books going on at once and I really don't like reading this way. I love having one book to read (as well as one audio in the car) and that's it. I like to delve into one and get lost in it and then go to the next one. Once I finish all the above books, that's what I'm going to do. Whether they are reviews or pure enjoyment books, I'm going to just read one and then go to the next one. I enjoy my reading so much more that way. It's my own fault. I want to read everything NOW! LOL I must go back to having patience.

Hope you all have a great week!

  3. I like reading one book at a time, too. Sometimes, if I have a big chunkster that I just read a little bit at a time, I'll be reading another one as well. But that's not my usual style.

I enjoy reading a book, writing the review, and going on to the next.

Yours look enticing this week, as usual. Enjoy!

  4. Still tempting us with that donut book I see. :-)

I don't normally have more than one book going on at the same time myself. But there's been something about the books lately that I just can't stick to one.

  6. You've got lots of great books on your list. A librarian recommended the dog story. Love to see what you thought about it!

  7. A pity the Postmistress isn't so good on audio. Hope you'll enjoy the written version. I haven't read it but it looks interesting.

  10. I also prefer to read one at a time but I am trying to get caught up on challenges and TBR pile needs diminishing. Glazed Murder, The Postmistress and A Veiled Deception all look good. Hope you can regain your comfortable momentum soon.

Come by to see what I'm reading and check out my contests at My Bookshelf.

  11. A Dog Names Slugger looks cute but pet books make me a bit nervous... I tend to get attached :)

  12. I was gonna say something about the fact that you had SO MANY books going at once, Yvonne, but then I saw your note at the end of the post!

    LOL

  13. I tend to read 1 or 2 books at the same time. If it's more, usually one book will take over and I'll leave the others until I've finished it.

I like the cover of Glazed Murder. What a fun title!
