The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday and Monday!
I hope all of you celebrating Independence Day on July 4th had a great holiday. It was a "rain out" here, but the rest of the weekend is beautiful.
I had many blog tours this week, which limited my time for participating in some of my usual memes. I have blog tours scheduled through July and August with some giveaways too. I haven't even done my June wrap up yet...maybe I'll just combine June and July's wrap up at the end of the month.
Other than that, I'm just enjoying the summer months.
So, what have you all been up to? Hope you all have a great week!
Yvonne

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?
I just realized tonight that I hadn't done my June wrap up and I'm also thinking I may just wait and combine it with July. There must be some thing in the air. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Tailing a Tabby and can't wait to see what you think.
Tailing a Tabby is so much fun. I will be posting my review and a giveaway on Friday.
DeleteI finished `Life Without Limits` (Nick Vujicic)
ReplyDeleteWas contacted by author Rebecca Stevenson to review her book.
Did not see the fireworks this year since I'm still healing.
I hope you are feeling better, Michelle!
DeleteHappy 4th! Can't wait to see what you thought of White Magic Five & Dime!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th to you!
DeleteMy review will be up on Tuesday!
Fatal Impressions caught my eye. I look forward to finding out more about it.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday post: http://www.bookclublibrarian.com/2014/07/weekly-book-reacp-74.html
I read the first book in the series "Restrike" and it was really good. Hopefully Fatal Impressions will be good too.
DeleteI want to read Orange is the New Black also.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th! We had rain here too but the rest of the weekend has been sunny.
I'm listening to it on audio and it's really good so far.
DeleteHappy 4th weekend! It's really been beautiful after the rain on Friday.
I am loving watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix...some have said they don't like Season II as much as the first season, but I'm enjoying the flashbacks to life "before," which give us some insights. The book was good, too...I read it after I watched Season I.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Pressed Pennies.
Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST
I enjoyed season 2 as much as season 1. My only complaint is now we have to sit around and wait for season 3. LOL I'm enjoying the audio of it.
DeleteSorry about the rain, we had a pretty decent day but today looks iffy. I have to say we're having apretty mild summer though so far, and I'm likin that. Nice and warm but not scorching, so far...
ReplyDeleteTailing A Tabby looks cute.
Friday was our only bad day. It's too bad it was a holiday, but the rest of the weekend has been lovely.
DeleteYou have an impressive, busy July so far! Confession is Murder and the Tailing a Tabby look good for me. I might jump on the Orange is the new Black bandwagon soon :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all your books in the coming week.
I never expected to like Orange is the New Black as much as I did. It's a surprise to me and I'm now enjoying the book.
DeleteSorry you were rained out. (I'm guessing you may live in North Carolina?) Our 4th here in VA was quiet but fair, and the weather yesterday and today has been fantastic -- cooler than normal (70s and low 80s instead of 90s) and low humidity. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI just finished The White Magic Five and Dime myself. I'll be interested to see what you thought of it!
I'm actually in New York. I guess we got the aftermath of the story, but I'm not complaining. We've had a lovely weekend otherwise - not too hot or humid. Just perfect after the Friday rain.
DeleteMy review will be up on Tuesday as part of the blog tour.
Glad the rest of the weekend was nice.Yesterday was so hot and humid it made us feel ill. I hate those type of days. Tailing a Tabby looks so cute. Have an amazing week Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteI hate when it's humid like that. After the rain, we've had beautiful, sunny weather with very little humidity.
DeleteTailing a Tabby is fun. I'll be posting my review and giveaway on Friday as part of the blog tour.
Have a great week! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diana. You too :)
DeleteSo sorry your 4th was yucky but sounds like you had a lovely rest of the weekend. We were lucky and got low humidity and the temps were only in the 80s! I'm really curious about the Tailing a Tabby book. The series looks really cute. I'll be looking for The White Magic Five & Dime review as well. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, the rest of our weekend was like yours - low humidity and temps in the 80's. Beautiful!
DeleteTailing a Tabby's review will be up on Friday with a giveaway. Good one!
Oh no, rained out? Boooooo! Well I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks. You too!
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about the rain-out!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reading, Yvonne. I'll be taking break but will return to it soon.
Enjoy your break!
DeleteHappy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) You too!
DeleteHow is Orange Is The New Black? I go back and forth on if I want to read it... but listen to it... hmmm :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been great listening to it in the car. It's very much like the TV show and makes for good listening.
DeleteAll your books look good. I especially like Pressed Pennies.
