Sunday/Monday Posts - November 27th and 28th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

I can't believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone.  "Time is flying" just seems like an understatement these days.  We're already almost in December.

I've been busy getting my challenges for next year in order.  I'm going to host the Cruisin' thru the Cozies and What An Animal Reading Challenges again next year.  If you're interested in joining next year, check the tabs above and click on "2017 Reading Challenges I Host).  You'll find the links there.  I, also, signed up for two challenges, so far.  I'm going to be cutting back alot on challenges so these two may be the only additional ones I join.  I always enjoy participating in them.

As for my 2016 reading challenges, I still have December before they end so I still have time.  I'm pretty sure I won't reach my Goodreads goal of 100, but we'll see.  It's doubtful.  Due to some personal reasons, my reading slowed down in the past couple of months.  So that curtailed me a bit.

Other than that, it's the same old stuff here.  The weather is fairly decent...better than expected for this time of year.  How was your week?

  1. You always have beautiful covers for your mystery books!

  2. Peet and Repeat looks intriguing, as do all your books.

This is the first year I didn't do the Goodreads Challenge. My totals were always off, as they would sometimes count a book twice (if I didn't check the right version). It was frustrating! LOL.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. It's amazing how it's almost DECEMBER! I swear it was just December... o_o

I have not read a Shalvis book, but I have one of her recent ones! Sweet Little Lies, I believe. I'll get to it eventually. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a fabulous week. :)

    Check out my STS post!

  7. Lots of appealing books here! Yes I have been thinking about challenges for next year, and need to get up a post or two for ones I host. The year seems to have sneaked by me!

  8. I haven't done a reading challenge--other than the Goodreads challenge--for a couple years. I may check out some of yours and, maybe, I'll give one a try in 2017!

  9. I don't do reading challenges except for GoodReads. I am usually reading review books which don't necessarily fit into challenges. I like Jill Shalvis's books and will have to add that one to my wishlist. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
