Sunday/Monday Posts - July 22nd and 23rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Well, we are heading into the last week of July.  It's hard to believe, but it's true.  Like we all keep saying, time is flying.  The summer has been nice...we've had both humid and non-humid days.  It hasn't been bad at all.

I've been reading up a storm...well, a storm for me anyway.  LOL  I guess it really helps that I don't have much TV watching this summer.  I am trying a new limited series on HBO called Sharp Objects.  It's based on a book written by Gillian Flynn.  It's pretty good.  I'm going to have to add this book to my TBR.  I also started to get  hooked on Hallmark movies.   Maybe I can get a chance to watch another this weekend.

Not too much else to report...I continue downsizing my house during the week as well as reading and reviewing.  It's been a productive summer so far.

How is your summer going?  Anything exciting going on?  Read or see anything good?

Yvonne

  5. I love the Kitty Margo cover. Might have to look into that one. I hope to watch Sharp Objects eventually. I despised Gone Girl though so I've been a little nervous. I got hooked on "Claws" and managed to watch the first season and then am almost current with the second. I agree there hasn't been much on this summer.

  11. So many people love Hallmark movies, but I’ve never been able to get into them. The few I’ve seen have all felt very similar. Have a great week and enjoy your new books! I'm glad you've been getting a lot of reading done.

  13. Ah downsizing is good, at the moment I am putting all my card making stuff on the floor and then I am going to get my sister to come and take what she'd like because I have all this craft stuff I don't ever get to doing. Thanks for the heads up about the email glitch, I never caught up with the fix! Makes sense that it happened around the privacy time.
