The Sunday Salon

A whole week has already gone by. I swear, time is flying! Fall will be here soon. I started reading "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer this week. I must admit, the huge size of it was intimidating, but as I started to read it, I was hooked. It reminds me a bit of Star Trek with a lot of romance added. I have Meyer's YA vampire series in my TBR and eventually I will get to it, but if it's as good as "The Host", I know I won't be disappointed. I still have a long way to go in finishing "The Host", but it's a great adventure and a new-to-me author and I'm really having fun with this.

I, also, am listening to "Light of the Moon" by Luanne Rice on audio. I listen on my way to and from work. It's good, but it's kind of hard for me to get used to audio books. I still think I prefer the traditional paper books.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

  2. Time is flying by, I agree! I am glad to hear you are enjoying The Host. I recently read a review of the book that made me think I might like it too. I haven't yet read the Twilight series either, but I would like to one of these days.

I hope you have a great week!

  3. Yes, "The Host" is really good and I'm finding it hard to put it down. So, maybe - despite the size of it - it won't take me as long as I thought.

    Thank you, J. Kaye!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
