Tuesday Thingers

Today's topic: LibraryThing authors. Who are your LibraryThing authors? What books of theirs do you have? Do you ever comment on an author's LT page? Have you received any comments from an author on your LT account?

My answer: Lisa Plumley is one of my friends on LT. I have many books of hers. I've read her books for many years - some romantic contemps, a few historical romances. Some other LT authors I like that I've found on there are Sherryl Woods, Lisa Unger and Susan Wittig Albert. I'm pretty new to LT, so I'm still checking things out.

As for comments, Lisa is the only one that has commented to me so far. She and I always run into each other on the different booksites.

  1. I think it's really great when an author takes time to comment on their reader's pages and blogs. It's nice that they acknowledge us. :-)

  2. I was surprised at how many authors do frequent LibraryThing. I like that readers and authors are able to come together like this.

  3. I guess I should get on Library Thing! I need to update my Shelfari page. Just back from vacation, during which I read VORACIOUSLY - and discovered a new author, D.J. Taylor (wrote "Kept: A Victorian Mystery").

Koolaidmom: We authors are (or should be) readers first! And we know that without readers, we wouldn't be authors! So let US thank YOU.

  4. I think it's always fun to find favorite authors on LT or Shelfari or Goodreads.

Clea - I do hope you will join LT. I joined last week and have had so much fun with it.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
