Sunday Salon - Being Lazy...

I don't have much to talk about this week. I'm off to a very slow reading month in October. I have only completed one book 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr and I'm in the middle of reading Debbie Macomber's 92 Pacific Boulevard. It's part of her Cedar Cove series, which I love so much.
I'm still dealing with some medical issues. Because of the medical stuff, I seem to be more in the mood for TV lately than reading. I'm addicted to Juliana Marguilies new series "The Good Wife". I didn't think I'd like it, but I'm hooked.
I'll be happy to finish 3 books this month. It's not going at all the way I planned for this month, but since this is supposed to be fun, I won't sweat it.
I hope you all have a great week.

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with medical problems. I can very much relate to that. Just take care of yourself & if you prefer TV right now, no worries! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am really liking The Good Wife, too! It's much better than I exoected. I forgot what a good actress she is. And the cast in the show is very good.
Read only if you feel up to it and whatever you enjoy.
Take care of yourself, please.
I sometimes think that a slow start or focusing on other things besides books can be a good thing. I hope your medical issues clear up soon!
