The Sunday Post/The Sunday Salon - July 7th

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, just click the button above.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

We may not have the triple digit temperatures some of you are having, but the temps are high here and the humidity is killing me.  I'm spending more time in air conditioning than I am anywhere else.  Not a terrible thing since I'm keeping busy reading.

I'm desperately trying to make some kind of order of all the outstanding reviews I have.  I owe all the authors and publishers, who have sent me reviews, a huge apology for taking so long.  I may not have gotten to your book yet, but that doesn't mean it has fallen through the cracks.  It just means it's taking forever for me to catch up.  Once I finally catch up, I'm going to do my best not to get so behind.  My intentions are good!  It's hard for me to turn down too many books since everything sounds wonderful.  Unfortunately, I do have to turn down some requests - it's not personal, just part of my desperation to catch up.

Other than that, half the year is already gone...it's so hard to believe!

I hope everyone's summer is off to a good start!

Enjoy your books everyone!

    1. Rain is bad too. It seems like nobody can win as far as the weather goes!

I have been hiding out inside because of the weather here too.

    1. Thanks...I'm kind of stressing about the amount of reviews I have to do but I'm also realizing that I can do what I can do. It's up to me to stop accepting them (but why does everything have to sound so good? LOL)

Hope it cools down for you...there doesn't seem to be any relief here.

  7. I understand completely about being behind and how hard it is to say no. Sigh.

    Enjoy your A/C :)

  9. This year has been flying by, and I am saying no more than yes to reviews, since I do not want to overbook. I hope it cools off, but reading isn't a bad thing! The Sunday Post

  11. I hate getting behind in reviews, and I'm behind right now. So I sympathize! I hope you (and I) get caught up soon!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
