This week I'm reading...

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Black cats have gotten a bad rap over the years :-)

I agree Catherine. I am not much for superstition. I like the fun cover.

I love black cats...and fondly remember some I've had the pleasure of enjoying for a while. I refuse to think of them as bad...just as Friday the Thirteenth is no longer unlucky, since my daughter (after three sons) was born on a Friday the Thirteenth. LOL
ReplyDeleteSounds like a cute book.
Here's mine: “DANCE THE EAGLE TO SLEEP”
Sigh, poor black cats. They're the innocent ones.
ReplyDeleteThat cover is delightful! I'm curious about how the superstition about black cats is a part of the story.
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to my Friday post: House Rules.
I have a black cat I recently adopted. I don't think my bad luck was caused by her. It just is what it is:)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read this. Cozies always get me with their fun titles and covers.
Here is my 56 - http://fuonlyknew.com/2014/10/03/the-friday-56-39-the-abyss-above-us/
I like black cats! I'm definitely curious about this cozy. I've seen some positive reviews for it. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete"Nasty road running black cats." How many black cat can there be in one community? laughing.
ReplyDeleteI love black cats, used to have one named Floyd. I miss him, especially this time of year where superstitions and holidays have him on posters everywhere... lol..
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
The closest we've come to a black cat is a black and white cat we call Panda. :O) Great snippet!
