Everett and Rebecca were sitting at the table next to Maggie and Roma. I touched Abigail's arm to tell her. At the same moment I caught sight of Dayna Chapman putting a hand to her throat. Her face was the same ashen color as the sky before a December storm. She made a sound halfway between a wheeze and a rasp.

  2. I love the way her face is described. I always think it's so special, the way in which authors manage to write about their characters and settings and somehow make it perfectly plausible that they resemble a storm. That's some great writing right there! I might have to check that one out! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

  6. I've seen this book before. Perhaps on your blog:) I can't resisit a good cozy. I'm wondering if she's reacting because of what he's going to tell or because somethings wrong with her. Hmm, need to know! LOL
