Friendly Fill-Ins - January 19th

This meme is hosted by Ann at McGuffy's Reader and Ellen at 15andmeowing. Each week they will post four fill-in statements.

I haven't been around much in the past couple of months, but I'm back :)  Here are my answers to this weeks statements...

Week 89: January 10, 2018

1. I have never been able to read more than 100 books in a year.

2. I wish I could still stay up late.

3. Cuddling up with a book in bed is my ideal winter night.

4. Peanut butter and jelly is so good.

  2. I've never read 100 books in a year.

I used to be a night owl because I worked either 2nd or 3rd shift for years. No I can't stay up as late because I'm working 1st shift and usually get up at 5am.

I like cuddling up in bed with a good book too!

I've loved Pb&j sandwiches since I was a young kid. I just had one last week.

  3. I think you've done amazingly well if you've come even close to reading 100 books in a year, that's quite a goal!

I like to stay up late, but I get sleepy past eleven anymore, and if I do stay up I feel hungover the next day, with no partying involved. :-)

Snuggling up with a good book, and a cat or two or three, sounds like a great night to me!

I don't think we ever outgrow our childhood love for peanutbutter and jelly!

  4. Great answers, Yvonne! I only stay up late when Bill is home, especially if he plays music out. Snuggling with cats and a book sounds more like me, though! Hugs!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
