Review: The Candy Cane Killer: A Christmas Mystery by Alice Webb

Genre: Cozy Mystery

Format: E-Book

Release Date: November 24, 2017

Synopsis from Goodreads:

A merry bit of Christmas shopping takes a more sinister turn when a man is found dead – stabbed to death with a candy cane. Who was the masked assailant who attacked him? And why did they choose a candy cane as a weapon? Luckily Alma Easter, the cake-loving old lady detective, is on hand to investigate in this short festive mystery.

My Review

This is a cute cozy mystery with a senior main character. With the craziness of the season, it makes a great filler type of read if you want to sit back and relax with a quick mystery. It’s a bit predictable, but still fun. I got this as a Kindle freebie and made for a good book to read between longer books.
