My best bet is to avoid her altogether, which is quite the challenge when you’re forced to share a cabin.

But if I don’t want to be around her, then why am I doused in glitter, helping her make Christmas cards? 

My Review

Molly Parks arrives in Alaska for work reasons.  She never expects to run into a real life Grinch who hates Christmas.  Now she’s snowed in with him and has to listen to his non-stop complaints about the holiday.  It doesn’t help that he’s her main competition for a writing award.

Derek Sloane wants to do his job at The Royal Reindeer resort in Alaska and then go home.  He wants nothing to do with Christmas, but he finds himself stuck in the same cabin with a Christmas fan.  It’s not just the holiday that Derek doesn’t like, but there are personal reasons that he wants to escape all the Christmas celebrations.

I always enjoy a snowed in story especially around Christmas time.  This is no exception.  It’s filled with emotion and realistic characters.  It’s a heartwarming tale of a tortured hero and a heroine who wants to understand the story behind the man.

There are moments that will touch your heart.  They will make you smile as well as bring tears to your eyes.  This author has the talent to bring all of these feelings to each page.

This is the perfect, delightful book to leave you with that “feel good” feeling.
