The Weekend Review - March 25th-27th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Hard to believe we are already heading into the last week of March.  I hope everyone is starting to get nicer weather.  It's pretty hot in Florida this weekend.

I finished three books this week, including one audio.

Not too much else here to report.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend and have a great upcoming week!

I'm currently reading...

I finished reading (and listening) ...

I'm planning to read one of these next...

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  1. Can you send some of your heat our way? We're still cold is So Cal.

  2. It's 30s here but we're supposed to get 50's next week. In between the snow flurries and ice storms lol.

  3. My week was quiet, too. Have a great one this week :)

  4. It snowed here yesterday, so I'm hoping for better weather. I hope you have a good week!

  5. Weather has been rainy here but I am hoping for a clear up and some sun soon!

  6. Loving seeing that you're reading To Kill a Mockingbird. I was in that play as a kid. I'll look up that Double Nothing and Times Square book. I love all things NY.

  7. It's 50 here in Ohio and with the sun out it feels really nice out. I am not ready for super hot weather. I hope you have a great week!

  8. We are supposed to have a lot of rain next week here, but it's warmed up a bit, so that is good.

Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers looks very promising.

  9. Our weather has been slowly getting warmer and I'm loving it, but soon it will feel like a sauna out there. I don't do well in high temps that are close/over 100° and the high humidity.

  10. It's gotten super humid the last couple of days... sure hope that's not here to stay. It's too early!!

  11. Sounds like you had a good reading week! Here in Texas we're also seeing the temperatures rising and I'm so not ready for them! Hope you have a great week ahead.

  12. I am glad we don't get hot weather for quite a while. I am happy with 50 degrees. :)

  13. It's great having a quiet week!

    Here’s my Sunday Post

And my Sunday Watch for movie and TV fans!

  14. We've had a mix of absolutely gorgeous weather and really terrible weather with no in between! Looks like you got some great books read this past week and I hope you love Vera Wong as much as I did when you get to it! Have a great week!

  15. Check out my blog and see what Spring looks like in my part of Minnesota. Looks like you read some interesting stories. I hope this week's choices are as good. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  16. You always have great books!! Happy reading!!

  17. When ever I see a book cover with Adirondack chairs it immediately appeals.

  18. Warming up here in Virginia too.

I just noticed your cat rating scale. I love it!
