This is a new weekly meme hosted by Lazy Girl Reads. Each week, we list which books we've picked up, put on hold, skimmed through at the library. I don't really go to the library very often except for audio books and DVDs, but this looks like fun. I do download ebooks from the library, so I'll list those too.
This week I got from the library...
I'm listening the audio version of...
I downloaded this ebook from the library...
I picked up this DVD from the library...
What did you get from the library?
I love my library, however, when I go for a book, they never seem to have it. In December they did call me and tell me someone had donated some Reader's Digest Condensed Books and I could have them, if I wanted them. They had 3 and I took 2, I already had the other one. Does that count? They don't display RDC books, so I told them anytime someone donates any I would like to have them. BTW I have to pay 50 cents a piece for them.
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne! Thanks sooo much for participating!! Looks like you've got some cool stuff!! I've never even thought of taking out audio from the library! What a great idea :)

Hey! I'm a new follower from the hop. I love the Sookie Stackhouse books but haven't read that one yet. I also have the first Dewey book but again, haven't read it yet. I did watch Grown Ups. It was hilarious! Hope you enjoy your haul. Mine is here: http://booklovingmommy.blogspot.com/2011/01/library-thursday-blog-hop.html
ReplyDeleteI've read some of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but stopped because there were so many different kinds of characters I couldn't keep up with who was what.
ReplyDeleteI have never rented a movie from the library. I should look into that.

Love the Sookie Stackhouse series. I was reading them fast and furious and then decided I better slow down or I would get frustrated because I would run out. Right now I still have a few more before I hit the "end of the line" and have to wait for each new one.
