Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenge

Last year this reading challenge was hosted by BethF at Beth Fish Reads. I joined, but didn't get very far. Since then I've become a huge True Blood fan and after season 3 ended, I became interested again in catching up with this series. So, I'm starting a reading challenge to help me focus on completing the series. If you'd like to join me, here are the guidelines.

1) Grab the button on top and put it on your blog and link to this challenge.

2) Sign up with the link below. Please make sure the url you use goes directly to your blog post about this challenge.

3) If you don't have a blog, that's okay. Just comment below that you want to join. Then come back to let us know which books you've read. For those with a blog and posting reviews, I will have a link for completed reviews.

4) Make a list of which books in the series you still have to read. Whether you are just beginning or up to #2, 3, 4, etc...that's how many books you have to read.

5) Books can be in any format (print, ebook, audio) and you can crossover to other challenges.

6) The challenge goes from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.

Please use the linky below to sign up. Please use the url that goes directly to your blog post (not to your homepage).

Please use the linky below to post your completed reviews. Please use the url that goes directly to your review of the book.

  1. Oh-so-tempting! I was in Beth's version of this challenge, last year, but only read 2 books... I'd bought books #3 & #4, but never got around to reading them...

I'll possibly join in your challenge, but have to think on it. ;) Thanks, though, for creating this one! :D

  2. I didn't do very well last year either. I think I only read one.

  3. I listened to book #1 and watched Season 1, but did not get any further. My library stopped the interloaning of audio/visual items but just recently got Living Dead in Dallas on audio. I just may have to pick it up now!

  4. I'm in! I am totally addicted to the books and the show!

  5. Welcome to the challenge Lisa!

  6. Awww, I'm so sad to see this challenge now that I've just finished reading all the Sookie Stackhouse novels (and just finished the short stories compiled in "A Touch of Dead" last month!). I'd like to drop by now and then though to see what people are saying about the books. Happy Sookie reading to all of you! :)

  7. This is so exciting! I was already planning to finish these this year. Thanks for hosting the challenge =)

  8. I love Sookie and can't pass this challenge by :) So I'm definitely IN :)

  9. Here is my review of the series:

  10. Hi, Yvonne! I came across your challenge, and I signed up! I love True Blood, and I planned to start reading the series this year. Looking forward to it, and thanks for hosting!

  11. Hi Yvonne, I have done my link to Dead Reckoning, but I messed it up. Can you delete post 10 and just leave post 11.
    Thanks so much,

  12. Done, Kat! I just finished listening to that one too. I still have to do my review for it.

  13. I think I screwed up the Linky thingy, so here are the links to the 2 reviews I got so far:

    Dead as a Doornail -

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
