Book Blogger Hop - February 25th - 28th

Book Blogger Hop>

The blog hop is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy-for-Books

This week's question comes from Jen B. who blogs at I Read Banned Books:

"Do you ever wish you would have named your blog something different?"

My answer...

No, I'm happy with the name I picked. Socrates is one of my cats and, although sometimes I feel bad for not using all three names (just to be fair), that would have sounded silly. Besides, the real Socrates was a philosopher and that fits in with the book world :)

  1. Not fair at all. You should have atleast mentioned the other 2 cats names in your explanation... :)

You are being so UNFAIR ... sob!

  2. What's in a name? Everything! A name is a label, a description and a promise. I'm very happy with mine - "Howard Sherman, Implementor" but it was quite a journey to get there.

Hop on over to my blog and find out why -

    Howard Sherman

  3. Hi,

Hopping by and now following, too! Socrates' name works well for a book blog :)

Feel free to visit my blog in your spare time,

    take care,
    Ms C

  4. Yvonne, I love the name of your blog, and the fact that Socrates is your cat makes it even better. :)

  5. I am sure your cats will have something else to say about that Yvonne, lol

    Here is my response.

  6. It's the perfect name.

I wish I had named mine something different. Who know? I may change it at some point.

  7. Great name for a cat and a blog.

There's a reason behind my silly blog name. Come see what it is. Happy Blog Hop!

  8. I like the name Socrates too :)

    cute cat photo!
