Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

'In a book, as you well know, you can take a chapter just to let the reader discover what your character is thinking.  But on the screen it has to happen in an instant.  So when you translate a book to the screen, you have to find ways to make those important inner moments come to life visually.'

    Definitely some truth to that teaser, and probably why so many film adaptations fail to live up to the books upon which they are based. My teaser: A Wallflower Christmas

    Interesting. It must be hard to try to make a book character come alive on screen and still have the reader fans enjoy it.

    Yes, I want to know more about this one...and since I'm a big fan of movies for that very reason (the visual images), I'm curious to know more about the story.

    Exactly! Otherwise, the movie isn't as good as the book, and we all know how often that happens...
