It's that simple.
I'm reading...
I'm not sure where page 56 is as I'm reading the ebook version, so I'm posting a line from where I am now at 50%...
"But the church, she is empty."
"Not everything is as it appears, my friend."

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

LOL, I would never be able to find a page number for half of what I read either. I do wish that there was an option for page numbers on my Fire. I have not heard of this one until now, so I look forward to seeing your review.
ReplyDeleteThe lack of page numbers is the one thing that irritates me about Kindle books. I was going to post a line from my current read except...page 56 is blank. ;-)

ReplyDeleteIntriguing 56!
I linked you in.
The Kindles do make it hard to figure out page numbers. Interesting lines, maybe a good idea to give the church a second look.
ReplyDeleteI love that line, it's so simple and yet opens up a completely new level of narrative and makes you question everything you've read so far! Hop on over to my Friday Post if you have the time! Hope you have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThis snippet has piqued my curiosity. Thanks for sharing.
Here's MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
"Leon caught only one mouse on Sunday." pg 56 of There;s an Owl in the Shower by Jean Craighead George. It was the closed book to me.
ReplyDeleteThe sheer power of a man and a woman touching, however briefly, can never be overestimated.
