Sunday/Monday Posts - January 25th and 26th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

We started the weekend with snow and it looks like we're going to start the week with it too.  We aren't getting so much as far as accumulation goes.  Instead, we are getting cold weather and everything is turning to ice.  Makes for very dangerous driving.  I'm hoping it won't be bad on Monday when I have to go to work.

I had a better reading week this past week.  I finished two great books.   Two cozies - A Killer Retreat and Fry Another Day.  Both were great cozies.  My review for A Killer Retreat is already up.  Fry Another Day will be on February 3rd, along with a giveaway.

I've even managed to catch up on my TV.  I watched the new show with Raine Wilson called Backstrom.  It was pretty good.  I always liked Raine Wilson on The Office.

So, how has your week been?  Read or watch anything good?

I hope everyone has a great week and read many great books!

Yvonne

  2. We got some snow and now they're predicting a big blizzard Monday night through Wednesday morning. I have to check my flashlights and run out to pick up a few odds ad ends at the store as they're also predicting power outages. Yay. :( At least it would give me time to read. :)

    Stay warm and happy reading!

    1. We're having the blizzard too. I didn't realize that when I wrote this. They are saying would get as much as 2 feet of snow. I'm busy powering up all my e-readers :)

  7. We were supposed to get snow today too, but instead we got sunshine. That's an unusual turnaround for us in January. :) The cozies sound fun , love those titles.

I'm still trying to find a new show on Netflix to binge watch. :) Have a great week.

  13. I didn't get to see any snow so far this winter and I'm a little bit sad about it! Especially since it still is freezing cold so surely there should be snow! I love the cover for 'A Killer Retreat'! Thanks for sharing :) Have a great week!
