Sunday/Monday Posts - June 7th and 8th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Overall, we've been having nice, warm weather with light rain sprinkled on and off during the week.

My reading has really slowed down quite a bit.  I haven't finished anything this week, although I'm almost finished reading Fat Cat Spreads Out and I'm almost finished listening to Jon Cryer's book.  I had a couple of blog tours this week and only one scheduled for next week.  I'm even behind on my TV viewing.  Real life just gets in the way sometimes.

Otherwise, a quiet week for me.  My father is still in the hospital, so my free time is spent visiting with him.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Yvonne

  5. Hope your dad gets better soon....and that you find your reading mojo again.

I had a few distractions this week, too, like hauling books to the library, taking my granddaughter to the train, and playing with my new BluRay device.

Enjoy your week...love the look of Beach Town. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  9. Yes, real life does get in the way sometimes. Annoying, but it happens. Enjoy your books and don't stress. Enjoy the summer.

  10. True about real life-- and hope that your visits with your father are bonding, and that he is doing better.

I would like to read Beach Town and Dressed to Kill. I recognize Posada in his pinstripes! I'm from NY originally and my husband changed our family from to Yankee fans, though I show allegiance to both NY teams (in honor of my parents, diehard Mets fans forever in the afterlife :), and also to the National League LA Dodgers.

Enjoy all your books and your week, Yvonne!

  12. Fat Cat! LOL That title and cover are just too cute. We've had some pretty nice weather too. Most of the rain goes around us or barely lasts a few minutes. I love June!
