Sunday/Monday Posts - November 19th and 20th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

It's already Thanksgiving week in the US.  I really can't believe this is the start of the holiday season. Thanksgiving is also the beginning of my self-imposed holiday reading.  Even though I've already read a couple of Christmas books - they were review time sensitive so I had to get to them early.  I'm hoping to be able to read a few more between now and the end of December.  I love those holiday books...some will be for reviews and others from my e-reader TBR.

The TV season seems to be winding down a bit for this year, so maybe I can catch up on the ones I have on my DVR.  I'm a few weeks behind.  I am loving General Hospital and Survivor these days.  I'm never behind on those shows :)

This week my blog was hopping with tours and reviews.  Next week is a light one and I expect it will be light through the end of the year.  I will be posting sign ups for the three reading challenges I host each year.  I don't know if I'll be joining too many others...maybe one or two, but I'm cutting back on those.  There's just not enough time in the day.

I hope everyone has a great week.  To those celebrating Thanksgiving this week, a very happy holiday - enjoy and stay safe!

Yvonne

  12. I'm starting holiday reading this week as well and am really excited about it. I've got a stockpile of Christmas books I'm dying to read. I really liked City of Lies though it wasn't quite the mystery I expected and the Ellery Adams has been calling my name. Have a great week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
