The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Weekend Everyone!
I've been busy at my new job and not devoting as much time to reading and blogging as I used to. I'm sure once I get acclimated I'll be back to my usual self. Fortunately, we can pre-schedule posts so I was able to do that for the next few weeks.
I've been reading Christmas books lately. It really does feel too soon to be reading them, but I had some reviews scheduled. I usually start reading them closer to Thanksgiving, but it will be here before we know it. Although, we are having unseasonably warm weather and doesn't feel like it at all.
My TV viewing is way behind schedule and my DVR is filling up. Hopefully I can get a few shows watched this weekend.
Not much else to report here. I hope you all have a great week.
Yvonne

ReplyDeleteI hope the new job is good for you.
ReplyDeleteI've not read any Christmassy reads yet though I like to read about them through the reviews.
Enjoy your new job...and your books. It is hard to keep up, I'm sure, with work, blogging, etc.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that I started blogging after I retired. I don't think I could have done it before I did.
Enjoy catching up with General Hospital!

I'm sure you'll get in a new rhythm once you are used to your new job. It is hard to fit everything in around working. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteA good selection of books. Never too early to read Christmas books I think, many of them are lead ups to Christmas for most of a book anyway.
ReplyDeleteMurder for Christmas looks interesting. I hope you enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteMy It's Monday! What Are You Reading? post.
I grabbed Pupcakses at Walmart a few weeks ago and will be reading it in December for a challenge. I just love that cover. Hope the new job settles down and evens out soon.
ReplyDeleteI am eager for your review on The Persian Always Meows Twice.
ReplyDeleteYour selection of mysteries look fun. Come see what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting Christmas books too and am really looking forward to them. I've got a few good ones coming up! I can imagine a new job takes a lot of time away from reading/blogging plus there's being tired from all the getting used to things. Hopefully things will smooth out soon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm also about to run out of posts! There is just so little time after work. Or rather, energy. Must be the season.
