First Chapter, First Paragraph, Tuesday Intros/Teaser Tuesdays - September 6th

It's Tuesday!  It's time to share your excerpts and teasers from books we are currently reading, have read or are planning to read.  So, feel free to join us by sharing the first paragraph or (a few) of a book you are reading or thinking about reading soon.  This meme is guaranteed to increase your TBR :)

Please link your blog post using Mr. Linky below. Make sure the link you enter is the direct link to your Tuesday post, not the main link to your blog. Thank you!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, now being hosted by Ambrosia at The Purple Booker. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read

* Open to a random page

* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I just started reading this one.  It's book #5 in the series I've been reading.  It's good so far.

First Chapter

Once a month, Adrianne Chrisander's regular Friday morning meeting with her Directors expanded to include her Managers as well as any Ship's Captain who might be in Fort Lauderdale that day.  Today, there would be fifteen pair of eyes focused on her instead of the usual six, so she'd decided it was a good time to make her announcement.

Teaser...

Everybody left with a huge smile when the Director of Finance, Brett Somerville handed each person a sealed envelope full of cash.

Synopsis from Amazon...

A Cruise To Nowhere?

What was Adrianne Chrisander thinking when she dreamed that one up?
Well, Adrianne had just discovered she'd inherited Nowhere Island when she inherited Cosmos Cruise Lines and the rest of her Great Uncle Adrian's Estate.

When her good friend and loyal Cosmos passenger Doris Davidson-Monroe asked Adrianne to help out one of the older lady’s many charitable endeavors and take some marine scientists on an expedition, The Cruise to Nowhere was the answer.

But why did Adrianne and her fiancé Keith think it wasn't fish and coral reefs Dr. Maurice Gregory was really interested in?

Maybe it was his other interest – sunken treasure – that was the real object of the marine scientist's underwater search?

Read on, dear reader, and find out....

What do you think? Would you keep reading?
