The Weekend Review - February 18th-20th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Nothing new is going on over here.  Same old, same old which I'm fine with 😀

I finished three books this week.  All good ones.  I'm really enjoying all the book choices I've made recently.  Not a bad one in the bunch...so far.

I'm still watching Criminal Minds.  I'm in season 11 now.  Other shows I've enjoyed - Fire Country, 911 Lonestar, Your Honor and Blue Bloods.  I have to catch up on Poker Face.  I'm a couple of episodes behind.

The weather in Florida continues to be nice, although I haven't been walking and listening to audiobooks lately.  I'll get back to it though.

I hope you all have a great week!

  2. Sometimes, the same old is good enough...lol I devoured all of Criminal Minds. I've not tried Blue Bloods, but liked Fire Country. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  3. I think I have Michelle Hillen Klump's first book. Need to dust it off my Kindle and get it read. Not sure when I will have the time for that, however.

  5. The temperatures here dipped down into the mid-30s with rain last week, so we haven't gotten to walk much. I'm hoping for some sunshine and warmer temps this week.

We started Unforgotten with Sanjeev Bhaskar at the recommendation of Tina from Squirrel Head Manor. We are two episodes in, and it's compelling.

  7. Walking and listening to audiobooks is one of my favorite hobbies. It's hard to do in summer, though. I can't stand being hot. I hope you have a great week!

  8. I just started Writing Retreat - hoping it's as good as the blurb promises. I've been a long time Blue Bloods fan - seems none of my friends watch it, but I've always liked it. Have a terrific week and hope you find time to put your feet up and enjoy a good book!

  11. Yay for nice weather! Ours isn't going to be so nice this week. Snow and snowstorms in our forecast. I liked Murder Served Neat and hope you do too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  13. It's great when our books work out and are good, not always a given with review books. Nice that Florida weather is good, mine is windy today and well... its putting me off going for a walk.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
