The Sunday Salon - For Trini
Labels:

This has been a really difficult week for me. My beautiful Trini suddenly got very sick and we had to put her to sleep. She had a fast moving cancer which prevented her from eating. The vet said there was nothing they could do. She lost so much weight. I'm really not up to doing a full Sunday Salon this week. I don't seem to be up to much blogging, although I've been able to bury myself in reading.
Trini - We will always love and miss you. There's not much else to be said.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteThank you Vasilly
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about Trini.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear about Trini. She was indeed a beautiful girl. It's good that you're able to escape into a book for a while.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, Yvonne. She's such a beauty. You've heard the story of the rainbow bridge? I am sure she is waiting for you on the other side.
ReplyDeleteOut animals are such a big part of our lives--our families. It's so hard to say goodbye. My thoughts are with you.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Trini was beautiful. A few years ago we had to put three of our pets to sleep over an 18 month period because they each had different types of cancer. One of our cats had a similar problem where she had a tumor and couldn't eat. Those trips to the vet are awful. We will never be without a pet though because they add so much to our lives. I hope your broken heart mends and you have all happy memories. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you Literary Feline - It's been a difficult weekend and yes I know about Rainbow Bridge and it does help to know she's now young and painfree.
ReplyDeleteWrighty - Thank you. Yes, those trips to the vet are awful. Hopefully I won't have to go back for a long time - only for those wellness visits.
Oh I'm so sorry for your loss! Trini was such a beauty!

ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry. I'm a pet owner too, and that's such a hard thing to have to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. Pets become part of the family and its hard to let them go.
