Natasha Senecot never got over the tragic death of her brother. She blames the death on Matthew Chrysler and the violent video games his company sells. She succeeds in destroying his company years ago, but now he’s back and, once again, selling violent video games to children. The games appear to be programming the children to become real life killers.
She creates a blog to expose Chrysler for the criminal he is, but he’s not going to take this quietly. In fact, he hires a hit man to eliminate her and finally get Natasha out of Chrysler’s way. He means serious business, but so does Natasha. However, when the hit man gets a bit too close to home and threatens her young children, she tries to get out of the horrible position she finds herself. It’s a case of too little, too late and their lives are in more danger than ever before.
I’m afraid I can’t do justice in giving a synopsis of this book. There’s so much involved in this storyline. The author takes the reader on a rollercoaster from page one to the very end. I read this at the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely had to know what was going to happen.
Some of Natasha’s choices had me scratching my head, but it didn’t deter from the excitement of the book. I have read other books by Cami Checketts and she is brilliant at writing suspense. It’s a standalone book that stays with you for a long time.
