Tears started to run down my face, but I continued.  "I never felt bad about being an only child before my dad died.  In fact, I liked it.  I was good at it.  I even played Monopoly myself," I tried to joke but my voice cracked.

    This sounds like an interesting memoir. The cover says it "sparkles with humor" and that's the kind of book I enjoy.
