Happy Sunday!
I know we all say how time flies, but it's so true. We're almost at November! Wow! The weather is getting cooler and all I can think about is sitting down with a cup of coffee and reading. Of course, it never seems to work out that way because there are so many other things to do as well. I never realized how much time blogging would take up!
I tried to put some order into my reading schedule, but that never seems to work either. Starting with the new year, I have to come up with a way to get more reading time back. Unfortunately, I think it's going to mean limiting my blog tour involvement but we'll see. I know I'd really love to join in some read-a-thons so I have to figure out a way to do that. They look like so much fun.
I'm still planning to join and host reading challenges, although not as many as I used to. I really do enjoy the challenges and it helps me to focus on the books I want to read, so why not?
I have a few blog tours scheduled for next week. Last week was a busy one, too.
Hope you all have a great week and read many great books!
Yvonne

What was your week like?
I know right, November!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, time flies! Book tours and challenges and all that other fun bogging stuff makes the time fly even faster.
ReplyDeleteLimiting my blog ours too !
ReplyDeleteIt can be really hard to make time for reading sometimes. Then there are reviews and other posts to write for the blog!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Since taking on the tours my reading time is suffering. If it helps I am planning on taking on less tours in the new year and being a bit more selective and only organizing a set number per week. I just need input on how to make that happen because I have such a hard time saying no, lol. If you have any ideas please let me know :)
ReplyDeleteThere always seems to be a tension between reading and blogging, doesn't there? Fun, but frustrating sometimes.

I don't do nearly as many blog tours as you do, but feel they have made blogging stressful for me. The deadlines remind me too much of the primary career I had for so many years!
ReplyDeleteSo I think I must not participate in them at all...at least for awhile.
Enjoy your week...and here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
It is really hard to believe that it is so close to November. This year has went by so fast so far. Enjoy the week.

Blogging about books takes so much time then add in blog tours and it gets crazy. I have so much less reading time these days.
ReplyDeleteThe Eggstone Murders sound cute, I hope it was good.
Happy reading!
Yup, I know what you mean. I had to make changes this year by doing tours and stuff only once or twice every so often. I had to make blogging my hobby again, not a chore. You can do it!
