The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a good weekend. We've been having nice weather. The temps and humidity cooled down a bit here so I've been able to take a walk on most days. It's always nice to get some exercise.
I only managed to complete one book, but it was really good. I'll be posting my review on Monday. In the next few days I'll be posting the sign ups for the three reading challenges I host each year. I always look forward to that and I hope many will join us.
Many of my TV shows returned, but apparently not for the long term. Many are already off the air until January, but that's alright. I certainly have enough books to keep me busy :)
For those celebrating Thanksgiving this week, I know things are a bit different this year because of COVID, but I do wish you all a happy and healthy holiday. It will be just me and my husband this year, but that's fine by us.
That's about it from here. So, what has your week been like? I hope you all have a great week!

ReplyDeleteYvonne, I am pleased to hear you've been able to get out to walk now the weather has cooled and that some of favourite shows are back. The weather here in the UK is a little gloomy but still mild enough to spend lots of time outside, which is essential for me being in lockdown. I hope you and your husband will have a lovely, albeit quite Thanksgiving. 🙏 Take care and happy reading! 🙂
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne! I love how clever the title is for Tell Tail Heart! I will have a look at it. It's about a cat after all.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome to link me to you sign up challenges, I sometimes forget to check, but if you send me a message - I'll join you.
Have a wonderful week and hope you are well...
The Sunday Post #19
It's been a lovely weather here this week too, sunny and seasonal - the temperatures have cooled down some, finally ! I've heard of Evie Green before, I think I saw some great reviews. Have a nice peaceful sunday, Yvonne :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a great weekend, despite the restrictions. Enjoy reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a happy, peaceful Thanksgiving, Yvonne:)).
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your husband enjoy a cosy Thanksgiving Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
Our morning walk is the highlight of my day. It's finally cooler here, too, and that's so pleasant.
ReplyDeleteI shall think about joining a few challenges for next year. Challenges are a great way to connect with the rest of the book blogging community.
Cherry Pie or Die? Love it!
Walking is good. The fresh air helps to keep our moods uplifted. I try to exercise through Zoom classes too. It's my way of dealing with my stress besides reading. That kitty on the cover of your book is so cute!

I was so mad when I saw that after only 2 episodes The Black List is off until the end of January. And This is Us didn't do their big Thanksgiving Day episode. :(
ReplyDeleteI’m having a small Thanksgiving, too, but that’s pretty typical for me. I’m mostly excited about the food. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Enjoy those walks and the great books. I was disappointed that shows were going on hiatus so early, but the return won't be too far away.
ReplyDeleteHere are my WEEKLY UPDATES
Jealous that you get to walk in mild weather. I so miss that during winter here in the north. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteNice looking bunch of books. I hope you enjoy Marion Lane and the Midnight murder much more than I did. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGlad you could get your walks in still. And I wish you and your husband a lovely Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWe like to walk, too. At least it gives one something to do outside. It's a bit cold here, now, but still will hike in the woods behind the house until temperatures make it impossible.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you'll be busy reading. Tell Tail Heart and Christmas Cupcakes and a Caper sound so cute.
Hope you have a nice week.

We are keeping Thanksgiving small too and likely will do the same for Christmas though that decision hasn't been made just yet. Hope you're having a lovely week!
