The Weekend Review - November 7th-9th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hi Everyone!

What a week!  I wasn't going to post today, but decided to go ahead.  I've been posting about my kitty Cookie being sick.  Sadly, she passed away this week.  For my post about her, you can read it here.  We are heartbroken and I haven't felt much like doing anything.  I started reading four different books and haven't been able to concentrate on any of them.  Not the books' fault at all.  I just have been too depressed to read very much.

This weekend we are under a Tropical Storm watch.  Just to add to my horrible week.  I don't even care.  I'm just at home trying to find things to keep me occupied like watching non-stop election coverage and doing laundry.

I did manage to get some Kindle freebies like I usually do.   Sorry for being a downer this week, I just need time.

So, what has your week been like?  I hope you all have a great week!

Reading always help. I am trying to think of what. Have you read Mr God, this is Anna by Fin? It always gives hope and yes - I do believe there is a rainbow bridge in heaven.

Lots of love to you Yvonne,

Another hurricane? When will all of this end?

  15. So sorry to hear about Cookie. We lost our kitty this past summer. So heartbreaking! Of course, you're down. Perfectly normal to feel out of it when we lose a beloved pet. And it does help to let others know and share the feelings, you know? It's part of the mourning process. Hope you have a good week.
