My Review

Adrianne Chrisander still can’t believe she inherited a cruise line from an uncle she hardly knew.  She’s thrilled with this opportunity, but she wants to secretly check out the company she inherited.  Adrianne and her best friend, Carol, already took a cruise on one of the ships incognito.  Now, they prepare to try out another one of Adrianne’s ships, the Cosmos Sonata.

It doesn’t take long for Adrianne to realize something underhanded is going on.  The ships are known for their top-of-the-line products, but that doesn’t seem to be what they are using.  She’s convinced someone is stealing the good stuff and replacing it with inferior products.  She vows to delve into this further and find out who is stealing from her.

This is the second book in this short novella and I truly find this to be a delightful series. I enjoyed this one even more than the first. The characters are well-written either as good people or as dastardly villains.  There’s even some romance tossed into the mix.

There are no dead bodies found, but the mystery storyline is quite intriguing and fun to try and figure out.  There’s even an exciting finale.  I don’t think you need to read the first book to enjoy this one, but I feel as if it does help to read them in order to keep the continuity of the series.

These are quick reads and can be read in just a couple of hours.  A very nice afternoon interlude.

  2. Sounds like a great read. I'm not into the big cruise ships, but our boat rocks. Boating is fun.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥
