The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
I can't believe February is just about over and March is about to begin. I know we're always talking about time flying, but it's really true. I feel like it was just Christmas.
We started the week off with a concert. Roger Daltrey (The Who) performed in a solo concert with all of The Who's best hits. It was so much fun. I've seen The Who several times in concert over the years and it was always one of my favorites. So, that was a nice way to start the week.
A not so nice thing is that my sore throat is back. It's really hard to swallow (although as I type this it's starting to feel better). I went to the doctor and they said it's all due to a post nasal drip and one of my glands is slightly swollen. It's not strep, so that's a relief. They said to take Tylenol and use a nasal spray. Basically, I just have to wait it out. I did take a Covid test this morning, just to be sure. It was negative, so that's a good thing. It's just annoying.
I did finish two books this week. Both were good. I continue with my Criminal Minds marathon. We are almost finished with season 11. I've also been enjoying 911 Lonestar, Chicago Med, Fire and PD. The Blacklist returns tomorrow but sadly it's the final season. I will miss that show.
Not much else going on here. I hope you all have a great week!
I feel like I just took down my Christmas decorations and now February is almost over! Oh wait, I did take down my Christmas decorations a week ago... ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your sore throat, but at least it isn't more serious.

I'm trying to remember when I last went to a live concert. It was---maybe---fifteen years ago. Good grief, it's time. It sounds like you had a great time.
