The Weekend Review - February 4th-6th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Not an exciting week for me.  I've mostly been trying to recover from last week's cold.  It won't seem to go away and my throat is still bothering me.  It's hard to swallow.  I thought this would be gone by now, but it hasn't.

I haven't been feeling much like reading.  I only finished one book.  Mostly I've just been lying around and watching TV...my usual Criminal Minds binge-watching, as well as new episodes of Your Honor and Poker Face.  I'm sad to see a few of my TV shows will be ending this season.  New Amsterdam already ended.  Now NCIS: LA and The Blacklist will be ending.  I'll miss them.

I'm not planning much this week except to get better.  I'm trying to avoid having to go to the doctor for my throat. I'm just hoping a few more days will help.

What have you all been up to?  Read anything good?  Watch anything good?  Hope you all have a great week!

  2. I never feel like reading when I don't feel well. I hope you are able to get to the doctor soon if your throat doesn't get better on its own.

  6. Hope you get better soon! Seems like all my friends who have had a cold recently can't seem to kick it. For them the congestion sticks around and the nasty cough. Hope your throat quits hurting soon!

Have a great week and happy reading!
