The Sunday Salon - Just hangin' out!

So, another week has flown by! I swear time is flying so fast. It's almost Christmas and almost 2009!
I spent my Saturday relaxing. My husband is home so we watched three movies - The Happening, Deception and Baby Mama. All were good. Baby Mama was really cute. Tomorrow my hubby works, so I'll catch up on my reading. I'm currently reading De Marco Empire by J Lou McCartney. It's really good. I, also, have to get my hair done. I'll take the book with me.
My favorite TV show is coming to an end on Monday - Boston Legal. I'm going to miss the show very much and I'm already sad to see it end. I'll really miss my weekly fix of James Spader.
I seem to be getting more and more addicted to TV lately! I just got the first three seasons of Supernatural on DVD and I'm going to give that series a chance.
My reading schedule is mostly filled with reviews and I'm hoping to squeeze in a few holiday Harlequin and Silhouette books, too. Do any of you read holiday books?
Hope you all have a great week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

ReplyDeleteHow did you do your Sunday salon blog posting roll? and the participants list?
I love watching tv shows on dvd. Hubby and I have just finished watching the first 3 seasons of My Name is Earl back to back - it was lots of laughs.
ReplyDeleteI answered my own question Yvonne! I like your snow background :-)
ReplyDeleteKerrie - I was just about to answer you, but I see you have the answer. Thanks for the compliment about the background. I got it from The Cutest Blog site.
ReplyDeletethe blogger - I absolutely love watching TV DVDs. I'm addicted to them! LOL
I had hoped to get out and see Australia today but it wasn't meant to be. We did stop in at Barnes and Noble for a short visit, but would you believe, we both walked out empty handed.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the first season of Supernatural and hope to eventually watch the second. Aren't TV shows on TV wonderful? Sometimes I think I should watch all my TV that way. Haha Sure, I'd be behind, but it seems to be the only way I get to watch some of these shows nowadays.
Have a great week!
I have used to watch Boston Legal, the first two season, but the other seasons I didn't found so funny anymore like before, but really sorry it's coming to end.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of anthologies I like to read at Christmas, and I always read David Sedaris's Holidays on Ice, but that's about it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Supernatural. I hope you end up liking it.I don't read adult holiday books just those for children. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteTV on DVD is SO addictive! I haven't seen Supernatural yet, but I've spent the past year going through My Name is Earl, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Heroes on DVD. It's amazing how much time it sucks up.
ReplyDeleteI watched Baba Mama and enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI never watched Boston Legal. But I know how easy it is to get addicted to tv shows...lol...hence how addicted I am to LOST and Greys Anatomy :)
Have a great Sunday :)
