Sunday/Monday Weekly Posts - January 12th and 13th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

Happy Sunday and Monday Everyone!

January is off to a good start for me. Through the first week of the month I finished three books and I'm on my fourth. All great reading, so far. I have two blog tours scheduled for next week.

Like most of the country, we've been having ridiculously cold weather, but now we're up to the mid-50's. Unbelievable - a few days ago it was under 0 degrees and in a matter of a couple of days, we jump to the mid-50's. Strange weather for everyone, I guess.

Next week I have some computer classes so I might not read as much, but that's okay. I'm sure I'll get in some reading.  If I don't get around the blogs much, it's because of the classes.  I'll try to visit as much as I can.

I hope you all have started the new year off well. Have a great week!

Yvonne

  3. Those all look adorable! It's been good reading for me so far; mainly I'm pleased that I finished a monster book that has been on my pile since 2011: with 768 pages, I kept shoving it to the back of the pile. But now I'm glad I read it.

  5. Some good-looking books there. :) I really should take some software classes. It's been a decade since I had an Intro to Computers class. What I really need is a Graphics for Noobs class. :D

  14. You're off to a great start for the year. Paws for Murder sounds like fun. I hope your computer classes go well. I know what you mean about the weather being wacky; it was in the teens here last week, and hit 60 yesterday. I don't know whether to wear my winter parka or a lightweight sweater!
