He does not remember that night and has a history of violent blackouts, so it's not a big leap for him to believe he killed her. Ever since making bail he's hidden from the paparazzi by living in his estranged twin’s remote cabin in a small Colorado town. They grew up resenting each other- Lock the handsome, supreme athlete and Leo, who has cerebral palsy. Constant fraternal conflict rages throughout the book, because the twin was a victim of Lock’s prior violent blackout.

(Book begins here) A week before trial, during a blizzard at midnight, Lock saves a car accident victim. He carries the woman up a steep hill to his twin’s cabin, not knowing she’s his biggest media nemesis. She looks familiar but he can't place her...

When she comes to, initially she has amnesia and finds Lock to be a gentle, sweet guy. Once the amnesia clears though, Jordan Sinclair needs to make SURE he doesn’t find out who she is, and begins lying through her teeth.

Journalist Jordan Sinclair is out of options. To satisfy her blackmailer, she must get the inside scoop (and its cash reward) on Lock Roane's version of the murder. Becoming attracted to the arrogant athlete was not part of the plan, but she uncovers the real Lock, not the 'Lock and Load' jerk he shows the world. In achieving her own goals she inadvertently comes across clues on what really happened that night. Now Jordan risks everything—including her life—to help the man she's falling for.

The more they hunt for the real killer, the more Lock unravels Jordan's knot of lies. The broken-hearted betrayal leaves him with two options: take his chances at the murder trial or double-down on trusting Jordan, a woman who's mesmerized him since he saved her life.

      I actually should be a new author for everyone, this is my debut romantic suspense, LOL! But after 9 years for trying to get noticed (5 full rewrites, 5 different killers and motivations) this baby is ready for the world!

    I love that it is different-- a romantic suspense that offers up a skier who has a troubled past, with a journalist who has a troubled past and a disabled sibling in the mix. Intriguing, and thanks for the opportunity! (I don't do twitter, sorry).

      Thanks, Suzanne, isn't that trailer JUST like a mini movie? I'm amazed...and the music he selected gave me chills. Too bad it was over 3 minutes long, because the entire piece is super eerie. He just cut to the last 30 seconds where you hear the howling wind at the end. JUST a fabulous job and the best selling tool I've got!
